Backyard garden Town, NY, August 2014—Adelphi University has elected Robert B. Willumstad ’05 (Hon.), co-founder and associate at Brysam International Associates, as the new chairman of the Board of Trustees, succeeding Thomas F. Motamed ’71, for the 2014-2012 expression. Helene R. Sullivan ’79, previously the main economic officer at Save the Youngsters, was named vice-chair. Frank Angello ’77, senior vice president and main monetary officer at Lighthouse Intercontinental, became secretary of the Board.
Mr. Willumstad has been an Adelphi Trustee because 2005 and previously served as vice-chair of the Adelphi Board. In 2007, he helped co-located Brysam International Partners—a unique personal equity organization that invests in monetary companies, particularly in emerging markets—and is now a spouse at the company. He is the former chairman of AIG and, just before that, was president and main running officer at Citigroup in 2005. Prior to his perform with Citigroup, Mr. Willumstad invested twenty many years with Chemical Financial institution in different roles, including president of Chemical Systems Company, and served in the Marine Corps Reserve for 5 a long time.
